

Nicola Wharnsby BSc (Hons) RVN
Practice Director
Nicola qualified from the University of Middlesex in 2007 as a veterinary nurse and has been working at here at the Woolpack Veterinary Surgery since 2015. She is our practice director, and her areas of interest include practice development, clinical governance, emergency medicine and everything feline. At home she has three adopted cats, Maggie, Frank and Minnie, as well as two ducks called Donna and Daisy.


Emma Weatherhead
Head Receptionist
Emma is our longest serving member of the Woolpack Vets team, joining the surgery in 1993. She is passionate about animals and assists with the rehabilitation of any injured wildlife the come into the practice. Away from work Emma enjoys walking her two dogs, Tinky Winky and Jean.


Allison Fielding
Receptionist
Allison is one of our receptionists here at Woolpack Veterinary Surgery. She loves animals, and takes a particular interest in client care, both human and animal. When she can she enjoys wildlife fostering. Allison has two dogs, Holly and Oscar, as well as two rabbits, Fluffy and Floppy.


Samantha (Pam) McIntosh
Receptionist
Pam has been a part of the Woolpack Veterinary Surgery team for more than a decade. She first started as a nurse but now works on reception greeting all of our clients and their pets. Pam really enjoys client care and issuing pet insurance. At home she has four pets - two dogs called George and Valerie and two cats, Dolly and Colin.


Lesley Mason
Cleaner
Lesley has been working with us here at Woolpack Vets as a cleaner for a long time now and she knows the practice, staff and animals very well. She is a keen baker and often spends her spare time baking yummy cakes for the staff here.
