Nicola Wharnsby RVN
Nicola qualified from the University of Middlesex in 2007 as a veterinary nurse and has been working at Woolpack since 2015. Nicola recently became practice director but still enjoys nursing patients and supervising our student nurses. At home she has three adopted cats called Frank, Minnie and Maggie and in her spare time enjoys watching films and walking.
Emma joined the Woolpack surgery in 1993. She is passionate about animals and assists with the rehabilitation of injured wildlife at the surgery. In her spare time Emma enjoys shooting and dog walking, and has two Norfolk Terriers called Trevor and Tinky.
Jane started working with us as a receptionist in August 2017. She has two gorgeous Cockapoo’s called Bean and Mocha and enjoys going on walks with them.
Allison works on the reception team part time. She loves animals and has always wanted to work in a veterinary practice. Allison has a Border Collie called Holly.
Laura started working with us here at Woolpack as a part time receptionist in 2017. She spends most of her time being a busy mum to her daughter and she also has a lovely Staffie called Sugar.
Samantha has been a part of the Woolpack team for over 10 years now. She first started as a nurse but for the last few years she has been working part-time on reception as she’s now a busy mum. Samantha has six rescue animals, three dogs and three cats. Her hobbies are walking, camping, and live music.
Lesley has been working with Woolpack as a cleaner for a long time now and she knows the practice, staff and animals very well. Lesley is a keen baker and often spends her spare time baking cakes for the staff here.
